Ashtanga vinyasa flow is a dynamic flowing sequence of yoga postures (asanas) resulting in calmness and clarity. Together with the breath and bhandhas (energy lock) it maximises the body tone, flexibility, strength, balance and helps detoxify the body.

The vinyasa (movement with breath) threads all the postures together giving the practice flow, grace and movement.

By moving through the vinyasas the body is realigned in preparation for the next posture.

Body heat is increased.
